hard to tell from this angle but don't make the texture too symetrical on the front. the strands are too whispy and also symetrical (2&2). the hair infront of the ear is too thick. there is too much contrast between the strands there, too. but i like the form of it. IMHO! ;)

Well the hair was taken from reference photo. So that actually is someone's hair there. Thanks for the kudos. Dave

That looks really good. Very natural looking hairline. Tim

Thanks. You dont know how hard I struggled with transmaps and textures to get the "look". Will be working later today on getting what morphs I've done updated to my latest tweaking. Dave

Very nice but, except for the whisps, it looks just like Vairesh's Tony Hair. M3 takes V3 textures?

It's similar to Tony hair but got an interesting pompadour, I wouldn't say it's just like it. Like the male pattern curve to the hairline. A few moire hairs in the whispies would be cool but I can pout some in in post. NIce hair, Dave. Emily

Dave - it looks great so far -- would it be possible to add a few more wisps (that users could turn on-off) and put a few morphs in them to bend the wisps in different directions and change the lengths? I find that it is things like these wisps that give a hairstyle it's defining look, but I also grow tired of that same very identifiable look over and over, so please consider adding some variables for the users besides just changing colors. Thanks lots! It's already on my wishlist.

WoW - great! but don't forget those little wisps - they can make a big difference just by swaying side-to-side or getting longer/shorter. It would be greatly appreciated ;-) Textures - please try to create at least one (medium light brown preferred so that we can tint ourselves) WITHOUT a lot of highlights (ie - evenly illuminated and crisp, distinct hair detail) so that those of us who use lighting for highlights don't get stuck with highlights in the wrong places. Painted highlights work great for very fast renders in average lighting, but having at least one alternative is a good thing too.

It looks good, but seems to need some transmapped layers for depth. Just trying to help. :) Jay
