Okay, I'm trying to build a little something with a freeware modeler called Wings3D. It's a robot of sorts, and I have it all figured out, the program exports in obp and 3ds, but my problem is that I would like it to be poseable for a scene I'm doing. Wings doesn't have that capability. I'm a newbie at Poser in many respects so I was wondering if it was possible to construct a rig in it, for the robot, something like you'd do in high end proggies, skeletons that can define the movement of the character. So, is this possible, and if so, can one of you explain it to me in simple terms or point me at the nearest tutorial? I would really appreciate it. Thanks! Drac

Try SAMS3D home page, they have a tutorial for making a pirate type chest, that should get you started with the process. If you have propack or poser5 these two have special set up rooms for rigging. You can rig it as a prop or a figure. There are probably other tuts around also, but SAMS3D is the one I know.
