Hi there cubed, I'm pretty new here, but it's my understanding that you go by the color guides on the seams. I could be wrong, I am just starting to dabble in textures and that is what I have come to understand about the colors on the seams. Like yellow on the front and yellow on the back line up kind of thing. Mostly I do like you said open both programs and keep trying lol. Hope this is right, I'm sure someone more skilled will be able to help more. I am finding texturing quite a challenge that's for sure! :)
