I upgraded to P5 (OS X), and in the interest of cleaning up my Runtime situation, I decided to re-install Vicki fresh into P5 Runtime.
I did an extract/install of V2, then extracted and installed the V3 upgrade. I did this because I didn't trust the OS 9 Vicki installers to correctly find my Poser 5 folder, and I didn't want to possibly screw up my existing Poser 4 Runtime.
After re-installing, loading V3 sometimes results in a bunch of blank param dials. If you apply the "All body morphs" INJ, the correct morphs get injected, but the blank dials remain.
This was driving me nuts. I thought something was screwed up with my installation, and it took me quite a while to find the solution-- even after reading the V3 FAQ page on the DAZ site.
The solution for this is the DAZ DialCleaner utility.
DialCleaner
It took a while to find it because it only appears on the V3 Base page (and a search of the DAZ site/store for "DialCleaner" returns nothing).
This utility was not necessary with Poser 4 (Mac), and it's OS X only, so anyone using Poser 5 Mac OS X with DAZ figures will want to get this.
