I was posing V3 on a bed and had made all the final adjustments to the fine tuning of the pose and decided to change the focal length on the main camera - when the parameters dials opened it said focal length was 0 - when i changed it weird things started to happen - this is what I got at 6. Nothing I did would change it. I had to give up, close everything down and start again. I do not seem to have the same problem again (yet), any ideas??

Perhaps you turned the Come Hither dial my mistake? 25.gif

Focal length of 0 stands for an orthographic camera, without any perspective. A focal length of 6 is a very strong fish eye. Try a focal length in the range of 40-80, that should be more what you're looking for. Also, consider that the main camera has a separate scale dial too. If that won't work, try the aux camera instead.

Yes, turn up the focal length... I keep mine at 110 and turn it down if I need to... Also, remember the NUDITY flag... I'm going to set it for you... Don't want someone at work getting named as a Pervert, looking at nekkid out-of-focus stretched pixels on a pixel-bed...

Hey, I kinda like it, mistake or not! Nice effect! :)

In reply to PhilC and the remark about the come hither dial!! I must have had my sense of humour surgically removed during the night!! I actually looked for that dial, YES, I really did (such a newbie) - I then came back here to check for other replies, and bingo - the penny dropped. I am glad you liked it though ;-)

Try using Edit --> Restore --> Camera if it happens again.
