This is looking very nice :o)

This is wonderful. I still have my potter's wheel, but no place to set it up (a 12' circle of mud would try my landlady's patience). The kiln is in my livingroom under a tablecloth. :sigh: Maybe a virtual shop is the way to go: the only thing being splattered is pixels! Carolly

Oh, this is nice. Is Tuesday going to play with texturing for this model, too?
ironhart posted Wed, 13 August 2003 at 9:32 PM
Tuesday will get the model as she always does and if she textures it that will be up to her. There are many new features to this model and most of them are in the texturing. Though still not a texturer, I think I have made some advances in that direction. believe me! I am looking forward more to this hitting the marketplace than you are. It'll be a joy for me not to have to work on it anymore. :) Billy

i love this house..cant wait to see what Alex does with the textutes..but the design of it is just great Billy.I dont think I could think up these houses in the first place. That is a special gift in itself to model them Billy.

Thanks for the compliments. I am uploading it right now to the testers and Tuesday. If all goes well, I figure it will hit the market place in about 5 to 7 days. I hope.

I bet doing stuff like this makes you chomp at the bit to be a home builder. Am I right?
ironhart posted Thu, 14 August 2003 at 7:07 PM
Truth is I have always liked architecture but I have no aspiration to be a carpenter. Though I would love to be able to design my own dream house. The problem is I don't know what it would be like. But yeah, it'd be great to design a community. Anything less would be kinda like manufacturing a portion of a complete product. It's like these houses I make are part of the whole. It is the artists that complete them. That is actually the greatest reward of making them is to see them in renders and see the conpleted final product. Billy

Just a heads up! Kiln House just passed testing and should be in the marketplace within 24 hours. Hopefully much sooner. Billy

Darn...just spent my 10 percent coupon...no matter. Tks for the heads up, Billy.

Tip: Grab some pottery that is made asymetric to look like hand thrown over at RDNA in the freestuff section. It is By Traveler and has Southwest textures, but would look good with any texture.
