Very very nice (although she does seem a little "top-heavy"). Paul

This brings up a question for me. The charachter seems so clear and vivid, but when I bring my poser figures into bryce they're colors seem washed out. Are you using extra lighting sources (other than the sun?)
Momcat posted Thu, 13 July 2000 at 8:12 AM
Try reducing the cleavage morph, and add the "fuller/rounder" "Boob Job" morph....it's in one of the breast morph packs at MW. I found that the cleavage morph is the culprit in that squishing effect

arabinowitz: I'll usually put a light that doesn't cast shadows over or behind the camera to "fill in" - same technique as is used in photography. Other than that (unless a scene specifically calls for it) I don't use other lighting sources. Have you tried turning off the gamma correction - that (IMHO) gives a very washed out effect. Paul

Well, it would seem to me that a temple guard would benefit from having smaller boobs, gosh, those things look like they could get in the way during a fight..LOL. But as Dennis Miller says," thats just my opinion, I could be wrong." As for bryce, I use a warm peachy colored light for my main, and cool bluish light to fill in shadow areas.

I agree with Paul, about her being top-heavy. For one thing, gravity would never let her stand out like that. If she's that large on top, she would be hanging down to her bellybutton. :) She's need an iron bra to keep her up. Melanie

Cool! She can guard my house any day. Nice to see someone using the belt and chocker! Try turning gamma off also try setting the diffusion down lower on the skin. Spike

Turn off all your chest morphs and dials. Then turn them on one by one. I've seen this effect a lot. It looks like two incompatable morphs have mixed. One of the 'big' morphs and probably one of the ones for cleavage, natural, pointyness, or laying down. ANd a search of the net's many 'pictorial sites' will yield plenty of top heavy women who don't sag. Not all of them use sillypuddy to get the effect either. Though most do.

Thaks for all the comments. I'll try that on the morph mixing. I'm afraid that since I'm new to poser4 I havent gotten the hang of all the tricks: morphs, magnets etc... working on it though! No outside lighting used... Bryce sky; beautiful woman texture with 25 diffuse, 20 ambient, 5 & 5 specularity & metallicity, and 2 on reflection. Texture in ambient & diffuse chanell A. Smaller boobs: I've had the smae thought on bladewoman, but hey, it's fantasy. And arcady's right, there are a few babes in the topless world that don't sag with bigger tits (silicon, mabey?) Again, Thanks and I'll keep workin at it. I'll continu to post my efforts till I get it right.

arabinowitz: All my (admittedly few) pics are done in Bryce. Check the tex settings on your figures when in Bryce - the diffuse setting especially. If it's less than 100, the colors will be correspondingly grayish. And the ambient and specular settings should either be set to the texture OR be carefully controlled. And by the way, IronBear - that lady could be all gray and still be welcome to guard MY temple :-) thip

Thank you arabinowitz, she can guard mt temple anytime, too... She and her twin are going into a tomb raider scene I'm working on. The only hangup is wether my WS can actually render the file once it's built... I'm going to try to work out the breast morphs 1st, but I may do a prelim post in my gallery with what I have now.

If your WS is short on RAM, you might try rendering the thing piecemeal, doing a mask render with each render, and compositing the thing later in Photoshop or Paint Shop Pro - it's a little extra work, but it usually does the trick. And I'd hate to miss that picture. Have fun
