Nice start. Is that DOF or just Bryce haze? Anyway it gives the image a softness that is easy on the eyes.

I like the translucent look of those leaves. I'm not sure about the bark texture yet. It could be more subtle. It's now got strong bumbs with big edges. How about sharp edges and less bump?

Those leaves are fantastic, I wouldn't change them a bit. Reminds me too much of fall and winter, I feel seasonal depression coming on. Very realistic! I also agree with Rayraz about the bark. I also like the way the terrain looks like a cart path up to the building. I don't like that the rock looks like its sitting in what looks like the path. This one is coming along very nice! Ang

The leaves are great, where did you get the texture for them?............please tell me. 8) It's a very pleasing scene and since it's a wip I hope you will be putting some landscape in the background. I'll be watching for your future wips on this. Catlin

Perfection achieved as far as the leaves go. I'm not sure that the path thing was intended, and i can see that you didn't intend that rock to be a building, but maybe it's something you could go with. Maybe an old rickety toolshed in place of that large rock, or something.

Leaves are fantastic. The way they show the light coming thru... another how-to that will be too cool :) S.

Ang is wondering if she needs her eyes checked Is that a really big rock in the background? It looked like a shed with boards running verticle and a bit of a mossy roof. Thanks for pointing that out to me Slakker, hehe, I'll be going for an eye exam soon. :)
