This is the image I made that is supposed to complement the poem. It's a visual piece for those who are not very good at visualizing poems :p

Quite an interesting graphic...I like the layers of detail and the look of almost looking through a very old mirror or glass that has been tinted with time. Goes well with your poem.

Very interesting graphic, and very well done. I will admit, though, I wouldn't have known he was a cross dresser from the graphic. I read a different meaning into it from just the picture and poem. Regardless, I enjoyed the illustration and poem very much and it's quite different from what I'd envisioned. Cheers!

The image represents the different facets and stages of the boy's life. It's more a symbolic approach.

For example, the female body with the men's clothing represents the transformation and also his mother, and his feminine side. The blouse hanging there is part of the shell in which the boy resided. (coming out of his shell so to speak). The painting represents society as well as artistic expression. There's a lot more symbolism in there, but I leave that to everyone's imagination ;)
