Attached Link: A test of Scale
Ok instead of texturing my robot I decided to attempt to make his enemy. I think his shape will do but I was wondering what everyone thought about scale? The story is going to be about a group of robots (3-5?) that fight a massive amount of bugs. I want the bugs to be huge but I dont want to over due it...I am thinking that this scale is good but I guess I could use some feedback. BTW: Why am I so afraid of texturing things? I have never really played with the texture room...I think I'm scared of it.ClintH posted Mon, 17 July 2000 at 7:09 AM
brent - Cool! Thats a big bug or one small bot! ;) The scale looks good to me. Just dive into the texture room and play around. Cant hurt anything and it will help you learn. Keep up the good work. Clint

Are you doing a pest control commercial? Looks cool. I take it the bug is IK enabled, too? I guess it depends on the backstory as to how the scale should be. I think this would have to be one studly robot to take on a bug that big by himself, but maybe he is....

The scale looks good if the robots have to fight one but at a time. Fighting a massive amount of bug I would but my money bugs. They have the size and numbers to overwhelm such a small group of robots. Think of ants taking down a cricket. Cant wait to see more. Looks like fun! -Grimpup BTW: The texture room makes me nervous every time I am in there. Its like its waiting for me to do something. Watching, waiting........scary.

Luke...Luke feel the power of the textures. But beware the power of the dark texture. Once you go over to the textures you can never go back.
