I hope! I would love to see a contest for best Poser animation push-Gifs. Post them right in this thread if that won't break anything :) Prize is... you know you are the coolest! Its that Private Dancer preview in Free Stuff thats got me interested in what you people with decent CPUs do, and it's gotta be push gif cause homeboy's system don't do FLASh or any of that stuff. Also, push-Gifs are so Nineties, so retro-chic. Really, show us some loops!

How do you add an image to a thread? besides being the one to start it?

arcady posted Mon, 17 July 2000 at 12:07 AM

Just use html code to do it: arcady.jpg

Truth has no value without backing by unfounded belief.

Also, your image will look nicer centered:

This is a still image.

Message53110.GIFWhat is a "push gif"?

momodot posted Mon, 17 July 2000 at 2:35 PM

Jim, wow! That image is so real! I can't believe it isn't a real person!! I'm really glad you answered this post, I didn't know that someone could do that with Poser and have it look so good. "Push-GIF" is just what a learned to call GIFs that are animated rather than still.

momodot- Thanks!- I really didn't know what you ment by that, but I sort of thought this was what you had in mind! I never seem to have any time to play with the Poser animation, but it is sort of fun. I was actually involved with Compuserve when we were doing the Gif 89a spec (gee, has it been 11 years?) I know for a fact I did the first animated GIFs, all hand assembled with a program I wrote myself. It is a lot easier with Poser and Photoshop 5.5! She does look sort of cute walking in those shoes though!
