Attached Link: Bryce Backroom (Main)
This is the link to get into the main part of the Bryce Backroom. It will now always be in the Forum header. This will also mark the further development and restructuring of the new Backroom, and the deletion of the old backroom. The restructuring will most likely consist of switching to frames so everything will be accessable at once. Although, each subject will have it's own page which will be linked from the Bryce Communities Page. Eventually the Bryce Communities page will be tied in directly and completely to each subject in the Backroom. ---------- Our Forum and Gallery headers are also slated for the chopping block to be replaced with something more modern, details to follow. ---------- I'm also putting together an information page for those of you who wish to submit their art to magazines for publication. This will be a one page "center" where you can find out ALL the info on the various magazines and what they want from you. I have contacted 3 magazines so far to get permission to reproduce their submission guidelines/links. I will also be compiling related information such as Bryce's "rendering to disk", dpi, file formats to save in and how, etc. ---------- I realize there is a "Members Photo Album" here at Renderosity, yet I will also be building a Backroom archive of Brycers portraits from pictures that were uploaded to this forum. When I have this ready, I'll make a new thread, making sure I have everyone's go ahead to use their picture. (the one's that I have) ---------- Since this is turning into a "Bryce News" thread, I'll also mention this; from what I hear, from Renderosity's Magazine Managing Editor, there will be THREE articles on Bryce in Issue #8, which is due out in Nov/Dec I believe. I know this becasue I couldn't get MY Bryce article in, just too much Bryce already, lol. Mine (on HDRI in Bryce) will hopefully make it into Issue #9 (as long as they like it and approve it) ---------- Whew, I think that's it...for now. AgentSmith

Cool on the magazine submission guidelines, I always wondered how to do it......have you seen issue #7 of Renderosity, no more content CD, there will be a Content Area on Renderosity for all the stuff, too bad, I liked collecting the CDs...such is life...

Is the issue out now?! I haven't "seen" it yet, one of my gallery pics is supposed to be printed in that issue. I like the CD's too, but this will allow ALL the people who buy the Mag to get the free stuff. Used to, if you bought it off a magazine rack, you didn't recieve a CD. Also, using no CD saves the magazine money, helps it stay financially in the black. AS

Thanks for making this all clear AS now I won't have to say "DOH" so often. 8) BTW, I really like the rusty metal effect on the header at Bryce communities. Will that be what we're getting here too? Catlin

What do you think? `Cause I feel I always go overboard with rusty metal. I'm leaning towards either a rusty industrial look, or maybe a clean/sci-fi/plastic-glass look. AS

Yes, that's a good metal too, but I still like the rusty one. You're just too good at making messy metals AS. 8) Catlin
