He kinda reminds me of the that guy from Soul Calibur. Yeah I know his texture needs help, but i hardly have any exp. with textures. He also needs a really cool outfit. I'm open to any suggestions on what he should wear. A katana blade might look cooler too. I also need ideas on a background, bear in mind i only have bryce and paintshop. Love all comments! THANKS! PS. I might post him if you guys think he's good enough. ;)

I Do think He's good enough, i've been looking for a anime style guy, really has been overlooked. How about things burning in background? or a lightning storm?

Sorry... he's not going to work... he's not dorky enough to be a P4 male. Seriously... good job! He looks like he'd make a good base for Vampire Hunter D character....

Good but not anime.

When I think anime I think like this: usagi_profileSM.jpg
kei1neg.jpg Your guy's shape to me still looks too 'normal human'. His head shape would actually be a great morph target with a lot of potential. Kind of has the same head-shape found in most heavy metal band members.

Very true. It depends on a number of things; including the artists personal style, and the personality of the character. You've also go hi resolution video game style anime which uses 3d characters. QD's character looks very much like that style. When you bring 2d characters to 3d, you have to make adjustments, and take some artistic licsence in order to make them look semi-realistic....otherwise they just end up looking alien. Casey

The thing is, his picture above is no more anime than a real life photograph or bugs bunny is anime. It's a realistic mesh if you ask me. A nice one though. But it hardly looks like any anime work I've seen.
