And how do I do it? I know how to export and import with an object from poser, but not how to export and import a Bryce object to a new bryce document.

err... it's just a matter of having the material/tree clicked, at whick point you bring up the materials/trees list and just go add. from that point on it's in your collection of mats and you can use it on anything you like. same with skies, objects, and pretty much anything else that has a list of defaults. as for entire objects that you can just quickly copy and paste, ctrl-c ctrl-v is good enough from one scene to another. You can also merge two scenes with the 'merge' option under 'file'. That way you can load an entire scenefile into your current scene. It's very handy to keep some order in complex scenes and to speed up workflow. You can build several pieces of your scene in different files and add them together for the final render. You can also export selected objects by clicking the little triangle next to 'create'. The object library should pop up and you can just click on add to add the current selection to the object library like you would do with sky's, mat's etc. to load the object again you go to the object library and click on the icon of the object you want to load. Then you click the little checkmark and voilyour bryce object loads. These objects can't be imported to any other program other then bryce though.
