Subject: Write Around the Block - Call for Content for September, 2003 issue

The first issue had 78 downloads as of August 24, 2003. The second issue had 60 downloads as of August 24, 2003.

My greatest thanks to anyone who has downloaded it. I'm thinking some people who aren't active on the Writer's Forum are taking a look, which is a fun notion for me to have.

Anyway, just to let anyone know who would like to contribute to the second issue that my deadline is September 20, 2003.

I never meant this to be a one me show...so if you have anything you'd like to see in the newsletter, let me know. I'll be glad to try to get it in as I have space.

For the lovely story starter graphic. It's nice to have such a good start for the September issue.

Dee-Marie, editor of the Renderosity Magazine, and Shoshanna have graciously allowed me to use part of an interview with Shoshanna that didn't make it into the magazine to be used in the newsletter. You'll enjoy it, I guarantee (or your money back).

Both issue 1 and 2 hit the 88 download mark. That's more than I expected. That's 88 potential readers, some of whom may not have discovered you on the gallery or in the forum. :) Correction to my first posting. The deadline for the third issue is September 20, 2003.

Someone, somewhere downloaded the newsletter. September 20th is coming up sooner that any of us can imagine so, if you'd like to participate, please let me know and send in your submissions to Issue 3. Issue 1, by the way, has 99 downloads. I said I'd consider it a best seller when it hit 100, so I'm not there yet but optimistic.

Over a hundred people have downloaded Issue 1 and Issue 2. Issue 3 may be a little delayed...I'm not feeling very well these days so everything has gotten set back, but I hope to have it out before September 30th. If you would like to contribute something to the November issue, please note that the deadline is October 20th. I'm open to ideas so if you have thought on how to make the newsletter more interesting to you, please share them.
