Further down is a thread regarding a Vickie head to male body transplant by WarriorDL. I thought I would repost the folowing images so you can see why this project is interesting, these are images of my Vickey Man but as you can see, the neck seam is bad where as Warrior's Polyette has a beautiful neck.

Thanks for the closeup on that neck. I can see where your problem lays- The points (forget what they are called in OBJ language) aren't connect between the neck and head seams. As you saw in my thread, Paul was right the first time L I just turned the wrong body part.

Is that the Vicky head in the bottom image? I assume so--hope you get it figured out--that looks very promising, as I've said before. By the end of the summer we are going to have some great human models--Polyette/Rose, Vicky, maybe Vickyman and I'm assuming the Millenium man. Gosh, folks have been really productive with all of these models and Posette too.

Picnic, check out the "Paul" thread. We have a successful transplant. Just need a good male face pose from Vickie to morph onto it :o) (Would like to use the above one if possible!)

http://pages.hotbot.com/arts/momodot/images/PaulFace.ZIP Thank you, Warrior, very much for doing this figure. I can't wait!

Once Zygote releases their Millenium Man, these Vicky hybrids may quickly become obsolete, since you folks will have to transplant his head all over again.

WarriorDL posted Tue, 18 July 2000 at 12:18 PM

The faces will be morph targets, so these should remain in use, but yeah, we will end up transplanting the new MilMan head to the P4 male until such time as a GOOD number of clothing is made for him. That is the only reason this is done- The clothing, or rather, lack of it.

...umm Can you post what the eye settings are? L Right now they are bulging out big time.

WarriorDL posted Tue, 18 July 2000 at 12:27 PM

Also, you don't have any textures on that, correct?

CharlieBrown posted Tue, 18 July 2000 at 1:45 PM

Look - there on the monitor! It's a Posette! It's a Poserdork! No, it's Vicky-man... :-)

WarriorDL posted Tue, 18 July 2000 at 1:50 PM

...errrgh... Your morph face is from your Vicky man, not Victoria, so it doesn't fit right, even though it DOES work L I need one from the face of Victoria herself, not Vicky man.

momodot posted Tue, 18 July 2000 at 3:55 PM

Ooops! Yup, the morph came from VickyMan. I don't think I'll get to send the from-Vicky morph til tomorow :( On the images above there are no texture or transparency maps. The bulge of the eye is because my VickeyMan uses Poser eyes where as Warrior's uses Vickey's eyes. I for one will have much use for this figure unless they decides to give me a Victor to BETA test. I apreciate them developing the new figure, acquiring him simply isn't within my budget, I blew my entire annual discretionary funds buy Vickie and her clothes and hair, I paid less than that for the computer system I run it on. Besides, I'm concerned regarding how individualized his default features seem to be in the preview, more particular than Vicky even. They didn't seem to "get" what we meant about wanting a "neutral" physiognomy to develop our own characters from. Warrior is probably doing it just for the chalange, but I will actually get a lot of use from it.

Well, Paul is now ready for DL. However, to get to him will have to be through the SciFi-Art forums. I'm making another post pointing to it.
