Hi, lets say that I have a bunch of poser files, with one character in each one, with custom faces and morphs already setup the way I want them. How can I add those characters to a new scene without losing all the morph settings and all that? Thanks.

When you load them into poser, one at a time you can click on the add to library (the plus) at the bottom of the figures file. Does this make sense? I have a character all done, opened up figures on the menu then the file I wanted her in and clicked add to library. Then I can use her whenever I want to. Only problem I still have is certain poses will undo my work lol. Haven't been able to tackle that one yet. Hope this is what you meant.

Add them to your library. You can now load them into any scene.

i have added all my favorite characters into a folder using the above methods,Foxeelady when you save a pose it asks if you want to save the morph targets, click no,this should solve your problem,if its from a package you have purchased resave it into the pose folder and do the same

Thanks guys, maybe I should use common sense next time! Let us know if you ever find out a way to get rid of that pose deleting morph problem, i hate that.

Saving to the libraries is the solution. To preserve a figures morphs and such, when you are happy with it go to edit:memorize:figure That way if a pose messes with the morphs, you can use edit:restore:figure to get it back to the last thing you set it at Also, if a posr has morph target info in it, you can save the pose back to the library and choose not to include moprh channel information, which will solve the problem for the future.
