I started this project for all the beginners out here. I thought that maybe some of them might like to know how to Make and Prepare new custom Characters for their Bryce scenes. If you dont have a modeler you can download a copy of Wings3D. www.wings3d.com. Download a copy of Erlang too. Theres a link for it on the Wings site. Install that first. You can also download UV-Mapper. Sorry I cant remember the link. Both of these programs are FREE. They run on PC/Mac. The Shaman is coming along. Ive been thinking about a rattle next. Maybe it can have some Rattlesnake noisemakers on a wand. I could repose the hand for that. Other suggestions are welcome. I just have a general idea what I want at the end so far. It will have a Bryce tree. The challenge this month got me hooked on the Tree Lab. If any of you have any questions please postem. Im sure a lot of the regulars will pitch in as we go. Bill

That would be cool if people could skip the big downlod. I just followed the installation instructions on the Wings site FAQ

To separate the parts you want. Select the desired poly faces on the original figure and do an extract region. That will create a new object. You can then leave the original as a guide or delete it.
