Plea from the heart. Using the link attached I downloaded a morph for the P4 dog, it is a dachshund and is provided free from the above site, they do sell the textures for the dachshund, but as I am keeping V3 and M2 in the manner to which they would like to become accustomed I am stoney broke. (poor poserholic). Is there any talented and extraordinarily generous person who could make a texture for this breed for me???? Pretty please????? Standing back, and holding my breath in anticipation, Angela.BonBonish posted Thu, 28 August 2003 at 2:24 AM
If you would like to use another nice dog already textured and free try Bloodsong and Lyne's Creations. I do not have at the moment the URL, but try to use search engine. BonBonish

Dr Geep - I did like your texture, don't take it to heart ;-) but.........Vampiria's was a tad better!! Sorry!! And I have to agree with lululee - magnificent comunity spirit - where else would you find help like this, and so quickly??. Angela.

HEY! ........ Only a "tad?" You've GOT to be kidding. It is 1000% better. - - - - - -
Angela, I'm just teasing you guys. ;=] My texture? Well, I probably took ... um, well, er, ..... maybe 5 minutes to "throw it together" - just for fun. ;=] If you look close ... (heck, you don't even have to look real close) ... you can still see the "map" lines showing through. I just needed a slight diversion from my tuts and thought it would be a fun project, that's all. My feelings are not hurt at all, and I've enjoyed this thread. Take care, be well, and have fun with the texs. cheers, dr geep ;=]

Dr geep, I'd noticed the lines... and thought it was a good idea you weren't doing a Scottie dog... wasn't he named Checkers? GD&R...... Carolly
Engel47 posted Thu, 28 August 2003 at 5:46 PM
Dr Geep - When I said a "tad" it was very tongue in cheek -yes I could see the map lines showing through!! Glad you enjoyed the diversion from writing your brilliant tutorials - Perhaps UV Mapper for idiots should be next!! Thanks anyway. 'Night Night, I am off to bed now as it is 00:44 Friday morning here and I have to be up for work at 07:00. Angela.

"Checkers?" I thought it was "chess," but then ... ... I got that info from NaySayGuy. ;=] GD&R? Is that a railroad?

Angela,
I don't do tuts for "idiots."
I do them to try and share what I have learned about Poser.
I would hope that my "students" are above average intelligence.
(maybe that sounds conceited - but conceit is a fault and Dr Geep doesn't have any ... oh really!
(sorry, talkin' to myself, .................. again)
UVMapper, Hmmm ... Steve Cox already has some excellent ones on his website. Have you seen them?
Sleep well. :>I
