Ok, I am new to poser, And I'm trying my hand at making my own textures so mabe this is simple but I'll ask anyway.. How do I make a blank map for Vicky 2 I found a blank vicky 3 map on a Site.. But I cannot find one for 2 I do have the UV Mapper. But since the Head and Body are 2 seperate maps.. How do I extract the 2 parts. I tried just exporting vicky 2 head to UV mapper.. & then just the body.. But thats not the right set-up some of the wrong parts are on both the maps.. So what is the correct way.. Or does anyone no where I can get a blank Vicky 2 map. Thanks for any help anyone can give me.

Hiya, If you go here: http://secure.daz3d.com/shop.php?op=itemdetails&item=83 Thats the V2 product page at DAZ, if you scroll to the bottom they have templates there.. You may have to be logged in to download them. but I think they are just JPG's that open in there own windows. Hope that helped :) -SimderZ-

Or, you could go here to Btsculptors freebies, he has made some excellent V2 head and body seam guides, they might be more useful and i suspect higher res than the ones from DAZ.

me yet again... really should look around more, before i click 'post reply' you could also try these seem guides, I don't know who's is higher res, but it doesn't hurt to have choices ;) also if you search here in the freestuff for 'guides' you'll find other templates for other characters -SimderZ-

Ectasy has some amazing pre-done maps for V3 that are Perfect. No seams. You can hand paint makeup etc. If you get DarkWhisper's V3 converter program at Daz you can change them into V2 texture maps. If you can afford it this is an excellent way to start out with quality in a relatively quick time frame. Here is the link for the V3 base.
