Does anyone know where I can find a two-bladed sword (swordstaff) figure/prop. I am looking for a Mandarin Spawn the Crimson Edge or Darth Maul type of weapon, a staff with a slashing blade on each end. Those familiar with Dungeon and Dragons 3e/3.5 or Arcana Unearthed know what I am looking for. *** Modeller, I can supply reference images upon request. ***

Umm... I did one of these just for fun to see if I could figure out how to create models in LightWave, chop them up in UVMapper, paint them in Photoshop and render them in Poser. Please let me know if this is what you are looking for. I was going to offer this in freestuff, but just never got around to posting it. Cheers! M

SHouldn't the hilt or hnadle be a little wider? There's not much room for manuevering (or is that the angle?). Nice to have you back Moe.

Hiya Teyon, Good to be back... :o). I have absolutely no clue about these things, so you could be very right about how useful it might be. I tried to make the handle two thirds the length of a single blade, for an overall length of about six feet. Not sure how you'd sheath one of these weapons... or how horses would take to being mounted by a warrior carrying one of these. Oh well... Cheers! M

that's the nice thing about fantasy weapons, they don't need to be practical, they just need to look cool and I'd say you hit that right on the mark :)

I know exactly how you handle one.... You handle two! Hold one in each hand and twirl around like a damn lawnmower flipping and spinning and chopping and slicing! 8^)
