Hi! I have spent a while trying to see everything and enjoying everyone else's work. I'm impressed! Particularly by the quality of the work and that there are so many other fractal lovers out there. Based on what you have discussed here, I obtained Apophysis and an evaluation copy of Ultra Fractal. I am still floundering with both but fascinated. All I had worked with recently were Sterling and Fractal Explorer. I'm new to computer graphics in general so I would really appreciate any tips, comments, or suggestions, and recommendations for good tutorials.

Welcome to the wonderful world of fractals! The very best tutorials on UF are in the help file, and also on Janet Parke's site. You will find a good list by going to www.ultrafractal.com and checking under resources. Also, join the UF mailing list. As to Apophysis, there is a mailing list at apophysis@lists.fractalus.com where you can learn, ask questions and get the latest beta. The biggest hint about Apophysis (or any fractaling, for me) is to remember to stop and eat and sleep occasionally! Tres
Fractals will always amaze me!

Apophysis and Ultrafractal Are cool fractal software. I also use them and the other 2 I also use you already got. I would say ask anything you want to and If I know the answer I would be glad to help and watch out for fractals and IMO especialy Apophysis because it is addictive.{LOL] Welcome.
