These images are colour/level corrected. My question is is it preferable to have them already adjusted, or would you like to have the posibility to do so yourself. In the next post are the pics raw straight out from the camera.

Personally I don't feel "good" giving out photos that I'm not 100% satisfied with, but I'd understand, and do it if it makes it easier, better, or for whatever reason for y'all *..practicing my Southern drawl here. *g* How am I doing?* What do you say?

the adjusted levels make them look much more dramatic, i like those alot better (although both versions are excellent) i especially like the one in the top left.

catlin_mc posted Tue, 02 September 2003 at 6:41 PM

I agree with woodhurst, but both would be effective in different situations. 8)

The modified clouds look more dramatic, but for freebies, you may want to provide the straight out of the camera ones so that people can do what they want as far as colour shifting goes. Just my 2c.

Modified look great..... But I agree with Catlin in that both could/would be effective in their own situations.

Hmm.. so does that mean, that I should zip both the un-edited AND the edited?? I can do that, of course.

TheBryster posted Tue, 02 September 2003 at 8:27 PM

I think it would be nice to have both. You could then work your own magic on the raw pics.............

I think the edited ones look better. Much more dramatic. Zipping both would allow people to use these sky's in much more situations, so that would be cool.

The more sky pics we have to play with the better, so if you're up for it can I have both sets please. 8)

Hi Britt, The ones that are unedited are really nice, but WOW the ones you touched up are just STUNNING!! Beautiful photos. Teri R

These Skies totally rule, great work! My digital cam only goes to 1.4 Megapixels, and I can't get enough cloud detail no matter how many pics I take...

:) Thank you, guys. I'm ftp'ing the files up to my server as I speak. But I've also sent a question to AgentSmith, because the fileseize of the zip is rather impressive. l So I need to know it there is a limit to the size.. As soon as I get that sorted out, I'll post it in freestuff.
