Subject: Camera distance from subject?

Is there a way to determine the distance (feet and inches) a camera is away from the subject? I.e. how far the Face camera is from the Face. I would like to use this information for my FireFly renders when choosing F stop and distance. I am a photographer and like to control my depth of field with my F stops. I would like to use these techniques with my Poser Renders.

I wrote a Python script to do that, see the link.
