here is my latest approach in modeling: an old styled house. this is only the frontal part. i plan to split it into separate props, a kind of construction kit. what do you think about? inspired by my parents' house from the beginning of the 20th century. the windows are just fake: a rectangle with a texture on it.

I'd say it looks great: the scale of the brick texture is just about perfect, and the old concrete look of the window frames is just as good.

I agree. You've done some great work there. One thing I'd suggest is to add a texture (or a layer) to provide some age and wear.

:O) Die erste Wand sieht klasse aus! Ich bin sehr gespannt auf das ganze Projekt. Gib den Fensterrahmen ruhig mehr Detail auch wenn man die auf grere Entfernung kaum sieht,lohnt es sich! Gre und viel Erfolg!!

Yeah, a "real" window would just be the top. It looks really great as is, but a detailed window would be even greater :o)
