This was a blowout month with 69 entries! Thanks to all you entrants for your hard work and coming together like that, I'm proud to say how many entries always get for our Challenges. This months was the second largest ever.

Beautiful work on all your trees, and remember, if you want to e-mail me your trees, I will be building a Backroom space for any trees I recieve, so anyone else can download it, and try your trees out. E-mail me at; agentsmith@renderosity.com

Big thanks to Doublecrash for this months Challenge theme, it was a great follow-up to the DTE Challenge!

And, now onto the winners.......

Congratulations to the winners and very many thanks to Willem and Madeleine (hyperborea) for placing my effort first, you certainly know your sad and lonely trees when you see one. It is so exciting to see your name at No.1 on somebodies list and can only spur me to greater effort in the future. Well done everybody. Dennis.

Quest posted Tue, 09 September 2003 at 11:26 AM

Zhann, Sambucus congratulations to you both! Both are most deserving of the honor as it is my honor to have placed along side you. To the members and challenge entrants of the Bryce forum thank you for having voted me into third place in what must have been an unenviable situation to have picked from amongst so many great entries. It is such a thrill for me to have been chosen from the theater of my fellow peers. Claymor, you absolutely blew me out of the water with your vote of confidence, thank you for that. Ang, those two scragglies were imported objects from many years ago from sites that no longer exist and who the creators are, is no longer known to me. But I do have my own scragglies and I'll be more than happy to give you the recipe to those. Now I'll submit the image to the gallery for everyone's viewing. Thanks everyone!

How do we get the trees out of bryce to send to you? Tres

Fractals will always amaze me!

AgentSmith posted Wed, 10 September 2003 at 7:14 AM

However you want to do it. Some may want to just take a screen grab of their tree lab, and send me the picture of it. That's maybe the easier way for some. You could export it out as a .bto, or save it as a .obp, and send those (compressed) to me. But the .obp may turn out to be too big for some, because on some of the trees, Bryce uses picture textures for the leaves, so the files turn out to be really big. Mine is all DTE, so I saved it as a .obp, it's only 16Kb zipped. Whatever is easiest for you. AgentSmith
