OOh no! Here I am getting all excited about M3's big release and I have just realised what is going to happen. With Vicky 3 they released just her, the head/body morphs and textures (and possible the bombshell hair)on the first day. They all had a substantial introductory price. Everything else was released over a period time, with introductory prices and I was able to buy my Vicky 3 stuff in stages - I could afford it that way. They are saying they will release Michael with LOADS of other stuff at the same time. This means that unless we fork out LOADS of money at the initial launch we will miss out on introductory prices if we buy the release clothing etc later. Sure it is great he will not be naked immediately but I do see it as being potentially a much less affordable option. Please DAZ, if you do launch enmass will you consider keeping introductory prices on for longer than usual or something?

I don't think DAZ said M3 would be out the very first minute of 9/10--just that he'd come out some time on 9/10. And I'm presuming DAZ goes by the time in Utah (MDT), so they'd be two hours behind the U.S. East Coast and an hour ahead of the West Coast. It could be that our Aussie and Eurasian friends won't get to buy M3 till it's already 9/11 in their time zones. I just hope that DAZ can handle the server traffic when everyone rushes to buy M3 and assorted accessories as soon as they go public. ;-)

M3 may be big, but Harry Potter he ain't - no midnight release, though it does sound as if the faithful have their browsers camping on the DAZ doorstep.

It's been my experience (I'm Eastern Standard Time in the U.S.) that Daz usually doesn't get the new stuff for the week up until it's after 3 or 4 o'clock in the afternoon my time. This will definitely keep Mike from showing up for our friends on the other side of the planet until the 11th of September. However, it IS a good thing that they are doing it in the middle of the week since the initial rush is bound to cause problems and we won't have to wait out the weekend to get them solved (I hope). And elgyfu? You just realized this? LOL...I've been thinking about this very thing since they announced all the stuff coming out at once. Most of us are gonna miss out on introductory prices since we all don't have hundreds to spend all at once. And vouchers will only be able to be used on Mike 3 and his associated morphs only - no third party stuff. We'll have to foot the whole bill for those :o(...sigh. Laurie

This really reminds me of the Simpsons with the kids asking, "Are we there yet?" every 5 seconds. Okay, I admit, I checked before work this morning and I'll be checking throughout the day. Is he there yet? Is he there yet? Is he there yet?
