This looks a lot like my friend Sebastion's studio in the house he built himself from mostly scrounged materials. Smokey is one of my four cats. I plan to make some more plants and ornaments for the interior but I have a problem. The potted plant looks really good outside but it is too dark. I have tried removing the back walls and clouds moving the sun to every position but it is still dark. I have tried adding a light to it... I am not very good at the light lab yet, and I am handicapped by being old, stupid & mad :} .I made the flowers for the outside tree it looks a lot like the plum tree that is flowering in my back yard currently (It is early spring here in SE Australia). Any help, suggestions, criticisms warmly recieved even if you think it sucks. - Ken

It looks good, but you definitely need a radial light in there. With all the glass it should not be that dark inside.

You could also try lighting the interior with ranged lights. In the light lab put a dot next to ranged and change the numbers until you get the right distance, also with ranged lights you can avoid having the light reflecting off the glass. You can also dim the interior lights so they don't overpower everything else. Catlin

hi Eelnik, I like this.....has a rustic comfortable feel to the room :) Sorry, I'm no help with the lighting.....I suck at that real bad....but sounds like you have some ideas from the others to try. Looking forward to your finished piece. Take care, Teri R

I should have said earlier eelnik that I really like your room, and if only the objects inside were just a tad brighter it would be lovely. 8) Catlin
