Does anyone know where I can get a rose where I can make the pedals fall to the ground. I guess what is need is a rose poseable prop and a pedal prop so I can make a pedal (rose leaf) invisible then let the rose leaf fall to the floor. I don't know if I'm making any sense.

There was a rose prop posted in free stuff, it is in .sit format so I never d/l as I can not open. I would think you could spawn a prop (stem and pedals in sections) in Poser, and assemble and use it. By this I mean you have the stock with the individual pedals parented to it. You could then make the pedals rotate and fall off one at a time. Should not be that difficult to do. If I had the rose prop I could give it a try for you. But you can probably do this yourself with no problem using the grouping tool in Poser. Rob

shadownet's suggestion is exactly how I'd suggest doing it. You can get a PC application that opens SIT files - its a free d/load from Aladdin Systems called Aladdin Expander Paul

Paul, Thanks for the tip on the d/l program for sit files. On my way to fetch it now. Krbtv, You should be able to do this okay. But, I will d/l the rose prop and tinker around with it when I have time. The idea of falling rose pedals sounds cool. If I come up with something that works I let you know. BTW - didn't I see a blooming flower prop posted somewhere? Rob

Good! It's still there!!! http://www.renderosity.com/download.ez?uploadid=291 You have to download the entire figure (NOT the slightest waste of disc-space, imho). They're actually leaves in the thumbnail, but a simple colour change will make realistic petals :) ~Dave

Poser world - in the model section, page 15 (I think) has a wonderful growing, blooming, flower prop. Look for the Amazing Miracle-Grow Tulip by Bloodsong A little reworking and this could be made to look like a rose. Rob

Krbtv, Is this what you wanted? 
It's nothing fancy but it will do what you described. I basically took Robin Woods Rosebud from free stuff and Bloodsongs Tullip from Poser World and spawned the parts I needed and made this into a cr2 figure (kind of sorta - the Ik is a bit off, and a few other things, as this was done hastily). If you still needed let me know and I will zip it up and send it to you. (This was done in Windows so if you are a Mac user, I don't know if it will work right - should but I am not certain.) Rob
