Hi all not wanting to start a feud,but when our you going to release M3?You stated here an at your site that the 10th would be the date along with the new stuff to go with him.Was that all Hype,why? i take it somthing is holding it up,but you could at least show a little respect for customers waiting day an night to purchase him. Customers shouldn't have to call you or E-mail you just to get a update on the release status.not after 2 days of putting up pictures of him an clothes an stating few more hours to go an not wensday yet. please just give a current update to all of us on the problems your might have so you half to delay his release. again didn't want to create a stir or anything,but would like a quick an honest response from you today not tommorrow. They're waiting to release him two minutes before they all leave for the day so they don't have to hear any complaints until tomorrow.

You know, the day is not over, especially for teh guys at Daz. They tend to release stuff in the latter part of the day, and have for most of their existence. Correct me if I am wrong, they said the 10th. Not the 10th, at 05:00GMT or what not. They said the 10th. By my calculations... there are still almost 8 hours to go for them (at this moment it is 4:17 there). Please, it is just a toy, not a cure for cancer. Go spend your time with family and friends. It is a definite better use of your time than coming here and bitching about this.

each product needs to be uploaded to server, then links and checking of the store front, adding links to all the previews, make sure all discounts work etc. brokers need to get their stuff sent to Daz etc. this ALL takes TIME. most often releases hit as Daz closes up around 5pm, I have noticed that most site updates come at about 7pst which is where I'm at. the 10th aint over, they have several hours before they pass the deadline they set for themselves. give them a bit of time, M3 will show up not a biggy.

They said 10 September. They didn't say when in the day. It's only 4pm Utah time. It's going to take a while to get everything up, so I wouldn't be surprised if it takes an hour or two longer to get everything up. THey always have their releases up late in the day. I'm sure if they could have had everything up at 8:00am today, they would have done it. I bet they've been taking the time to test their servers to make sure there's no meltdowns and resulting rabid riots from everyone hitting the servers at once.

They are putting it up they normally put up stuff. Late in the day. Just like they do every Friday. I would say except it late in the day then. It is currently not even 5 there.

Really you would believe that it was all made in advance, wouldn't you? I mean the coding and the pictures could all have been done DAYS ago so that all that needed was a new frontpage and whatever pages with a M3 link on. And I would think they have something that automates the linking. The upload itself takes seconds (The front page upload I mean) The rest can be done in advance. Is it usual for offices to close at 5?! Phew.. I am glad I'm not american then. G When do you people go to work then? at noon?! I'm more than happy to be able to leave my office at 3pm. And that's pretty common here.

Why sweat it so much? DAZ's store & site has a history of difficulty when a major item is released so I'd say my (and a lot of other ppl's) best bet is to wait a day or two...or three to let the bottleneck clear up before heading in to spend my money.

Almost 7:oo eastern standard time, 5 more hours left in the days here.

Time to calm down guys... It's going to take a little while for everything to be ready for sale (BTW, they did, AFAIK, setup all of the product pages ahead of time). There are last minute preparations that needed to be made, not only to handle the bandwidth but to make sure that all discounts, sales, installers, etc. work. You always do a last minute check on everything before putting it live.

Don't ask me how I know, but there really is a TON of stuff coming out for M3. More than has been previewed here. I know they're in the process of building a number of pages right now. I think there's more stuff being released today than Daz has ever released before in any two weeks. There's going to be charge card meltdown all across the world.

Rick, DAZ wants your money. They are keeping us all in the dark to keep the suspense up. The anguish builds and when it does get released, BOOM, everyone dumps all the money they can spare in DAZ wallet without thinking. That doesn't work for me. They longer I wait, the more discusted I get and then, at an undetermined point, my mind says I don't care if it gets released or not and then it takes me forever to decide if I really wanted it or not.

I love it! To everyone saying "calm down, wait, it's not life-threatening", I only have to say this: after waiting over a year in anticipation of this, after waiting in drool for the past several months in anticipation of this, after seeing image after image of M3 and its related products in anticipation, after getting V3 in anticipation of this, my anticipation is not wearing thin - it has a big, gaping hole in it! ;) I've put off much work waiting for this (as V3 has the best Asian morphs in the universe at this time, but not the best male figure). This supercedes my anticipation of Poser 5 (and the stream of Service Releases), Mimic 2.0, BodyPaint R2, among other things. V3 male did not alleviate the need for a proper male character for doing the work inwhich I am involved. When!!!!!!!!!!!?

I am a nervous wreck. I know this sounds stupid to be acting this way over a 3d model, but I cannot help it. The anticipation of getting him has been increasing everyday since the first mention of him at the beginning of the year. He was all that I thought about when I was at work today. I was so excited and happy because he was finally getting released... but now I am sad. I will be going to bed soon and I didn't even get a chance to look at him. I know I will get him tomorrow, but it won't be the same. The magic will not be totally the same. I know it sounds stupid, but they are my feelings and they do matter to me. I LOVE Daz, and I know there are reasons for the delay... so I am NOT mad at them. This just teaches me to control my excitement over things in the future.

I know M3 will be great! Good night everyone and take care.

ernyoka1...we Americans work 8-16 hours per day, depending if your first job pays enough to afford food and clothing...then if needed, the second job.... I start work at 7am and go until 6pm...only 11 hours....thankfully I get a 30 minute lunch break to relax a bit

I just checked Daz as it is now 02:45 on the 11 of Sept here in the netherlands, and whilst I was there I was having a wander around and found this on the Platinum club membership pages - it says M3 is available on the 1st of September!!

Daz are probably too busy to spend much time browsing other sites .. its the 11th @ 1pm here .. :-) Give them time; for a country that spans multiple time zones you guys are pretty intolerant.

Well, it is a decent launch. Several good textures. Various clothing packs, some characters, and a few hairs. Prices about the same for equivalent products for Vic, so no inflation factor. Hopefully the inevitable general purpose "clothing pack" will be out soon. Lots of good clothes here, but most are too fanciful for any of my purposes; but nice none-the-less. And with that, I am jumping off the board tonight.

Looks like a total price of $49.76 (after P-Club disc.) for

But I'm not sure about the body morphs though. The triceps have jagged edges, and the delts are way too small for arms that big. The delts have a funny shape too. Come to think of it, none of the other muscles match the arms..... :(

YOu got to consider the skill of the person who turned the morph diles and thier knollege of human anatomy. I bet these can be be corrected, My question is if you can't make morphs that contain the original mesh and have to rely on morphs he comes with or morph poses, how can we really work with this figure?

I just wish I could add this stuff to my shopping cart...........

Ghost of macBeth So I can have a large, mean looking creature that I can use to make horrible/violent/bloody/offensive pictures with it ripping Koshini and any other of those stupid "cute" figures to shreds. I will even buy the abomination (Koshini, not your figure) just so I can make these pictures. :-)

Not bad..I have a $10 voucher..so down to $39.76 some of the other textures look pretty good, so might wait to see them befor plunking down fore the DAZ set

Question for other PC members: When I was adding everything to my cart, all discounts calculated correctly. However when checking out, the balances only reflect the PC discount, not the Sale discount, so it shows up now as $57.86. Anyone else...

Just echoing the comment made by "darkjeanette" above, so that nothing is overlooked; some good textures/morphs/clothes. Changed the heading so those who browse heading will know.

And some of the new M3 stuff ended up "behind" M3 in the Premier Club. (Hit the next button to find them.)

No issues here with the morphs at all.

What I think this figure needs is this. 1. fix the chest and traps. 2. whatever happend to the default mike 2.0 face?, kat was showing us in the beata previews? 3. Mike 3.0 has too much tone in his body base. 4. I noticed Mike 3.0 is missing some morphs that vicky 3.0 has in the ethnic area and the head fairy morph is missing like mike 2.0 had. 5. Lets have a m2-m3 mike 2.0n Mike's 3.0's body.

Do I recommend that you buy it? yes I think it was worth the money and will be upgraded and made better. I just hope that a mike 2.0 to mike 3.0 is made Mike 2.0's head on Mike 3.0's body when the fixes are in.

Mesh, you're a real character...you're the first to complain about how Mike 3 is just V3 all over again, the first to complain that he's not for sale immediately after midnight on the 10th, one of the first to buy him, and the first to review (and find fault) with him. OK, as one who has found fault with MM's "negative" comments previously and has made comments about his/her postings previously, I am going to jump in here and provide support to him/her. He/she (sorry, I don't know which) is making some valid/early comments regarding the figure. They are also OPINION, which are NOW based on actual observation. At least give some credit here. Play with the figure a bit and see if after a while whether YOU agree with him/her or not. Me, I decided I have to put it off until the weekend. I was all set to play tomorrow, but REAL LIFE has jumped in the way :-( And MM, just a suggestion... I do note that you posted and put forth your last comments in a constructive way, but you gotta realize, a lot of us have noted your previous postings and there is going to be a bit of baggage to overcome. Bare with us, and the replies to you will be a bit more constructive. - Ray

No Hes not v3,Im not complaining either. Im simply poiting out that he has a few problems. Look guys, I am very good at customising morphs to create really good characters, But Mike 3.0 has alot of morph resistance and the morphs don't work that well in combination with each other as well as Mike 2.0. I did say I belive this character has alot potential and heres why I think this. 1. I like the way the rists were fixed to look more natural. 2. I like the new cut in the body parts, Think this works better. 3. I like the hands and feet better then Mike 2.0. 4. The shoulders are not as big as mike 2.0's ad look more natural. 5. I noticed he is scaled a little different then Mike 2.0 and I like that he has a longer torso, because it looks more natural. 6. I like the monster morphs he has I think they cool. I already stated what I think should be fixed, I know vicky 1 had problems and fixes were made for her, I don't think we need to wait long for fixes and new morphs, So no this is not a comaplint it's a constructive criticism, So relax guys. Im only pointing this out so the poser Gods here will hear my prayers and fix mike 3.0 sooner then later ok? My second overview and this is not a complaint mind you, Is mike 3.0 is in need of some fixes and the morph resistance I mentioned needs to be relaxed some.

MM that last post destroys all the constructive things you said in post 172. Seems to me that you WANT people to not like you. I am not sure what you mean with "morph resistance" but then I've only had M3 for about 2 hours L so I haven't tested all his resistance yet :o) MM, saying that you're not welcome here is bull****. People are welcome here if they behave nicely. Just like me ;o) Lighten up and play some more with your new friend :o) I like M3. But I DO see some weird things in him too.

This is Mike 2.0 flexed and pumped up, Do this to Mike 3.0 as a poser challenge, I want to see If im wrong or right about this. I think Im right but I want to see if others can get mike 3.0 looking this way to proove me wrong.

I think what I am saying is this, Mike 3 has a few problem Im sure DAZ will fix. And I Belive at the moment that Mike 3.0 is not going to be able to be as massive as mike unless some new morphs are created, I tried several times to make him really massive like Mike 2.0 but he morphs to the wrong shape if you over do it. He seems to want to stay a certain size, Yes he can get buff but not massive like mike 2.0. Was this character created to be on the smaller scale then Mike? If so and if that was his design then what im trying to do to is not what he was degined for?

Well, i like the way he is working for me. And if they do make fixes or corrections i will welcome like everyone else.

I think they must have heard Orio. Even though M3 has made his debut, they kept the cats on the store entry. :-) I haven't bought him yet; I went to bed before he was on sale last night. Will probably buy him tonight.

RICHARD, i FIGURED OUT WHEN mIKE 3 is comming out, never, Daz appparently had decided to sell us the vicky male figure all over again and give us a bunch of abra cadabra crap about how mike 3 is this new universal figure.

Lobo, I love the guy in your image in post #177. :) Just say No to Mesh Magick. ;) M3is NOT V3. The Unimesh idea is not very hard to understand. Big lump of clay. Big lump of clay in humanoid shape. Big Lump of clay gets a mold made from it. From this mold you now get humanoid shapes. Once you have the humanoid shapes you can make 'em male, female, hermaphrodite, whatever you please. Then you add the wiring and so on.
