I downloaded Michael3.0 today. But I can't move his eyes or mouth. Did I install it in a wrong way? OR does this mean that I have to buy "Michael 3 Head" and "Body Morph" as well? When I installed it, I opened "exe." file. Then downloaded it to "Poser5" folder. Should I have installed it into "Runtime" folder in "Poser5"????? OR M3 can work only in Poser4??????? I'm using Windows XP and totally new to the OS and Poser5. Please help someone. Thanks. JET@Tokyo

I think like with Vic 3 Mike 3 requires the head morphs to do that. They are with the expression morphs and have to be injected.

M3 is pretty much useless without the head and body morph packs i'm afraid..

but..... you should be able to move his eyes, if you been his eyeballs, try selected his eyes.

His expressions are included. Open the pose folder and you will find expressions there. His eyes are seperate to his head and will move if you double click them and then change their side or up paramaters. I recommend you check the manual for basic posing if you are unsure.

Check the eyes haven't somehow been locked - select them and (Locked) will appear at the top of the parameter dial panel (in P4, anyway).

hooold the phone.. can someone just clarify summat here? to get m3 to open his mouth.. you need to buy an extra morph pack? or is it just a question of looking in the inj lib? this is a question thats making me wonder if I want m3 or not here....

Thanks for your kind help, guys! Finally I figured out how I can find expression parameters for M3's face (Especially, thanks "elgyfu" for this info). I didn't know it shows up when I apply "!M3 All Morphs" selection in "Pose" library to M3 (To Kaibach, THIS was the trick that I had to spend some time to figure out. With this way, it seems OK, I guess). JET2003@TOKYO

Yeah but without the morph paks there are no morphs to inject, right? I bought both M3 and the head morphs and the body morphs, but.. there are NO morphs at all included with M3, is there?! Even the expression morphs? Or are they present in the base figure too?

You just can't put the words "Poserites" and "happy" in the same sentence - didn't you know that? LaurieA

Yes, the expression morphs are included. They are in your Poser directory and will make Michael smile, wink and stick out his tongue etc. You still need to inject them by clicking the pose and you can remove them again if you wish with the remove injection pose button. The extra morph packs make Mike into different characters and creatures.

Good explanation elgyfu. P5 users who have V3 and other "injectable" models (like DNA Microcsm), know that the folder containing the deltas/ChanVis or hide folders, must be installed in the original P5 runtime/libraries folder. For me at least, these models won't work if you try to put them into a different runtime.

Oh... I just thought ALL morphs were included in the morph packs... Glad to have been proven wrong :o)

All morphs ARE included with the original morph packs (but not with the original figure - see below). There is a folder called "!M3 Expressions INJ" in your Pose library for all his expression morphs. You do not have to inject 'All Head Morphs' to get the expressions to work, you can just use the inj files from the "!M3 Expressions INJ" folder. Michael Base figure comes with no morphs. You need to purchase Head Morphs and Body Morphs packs to have morphs for his head and body. The 'extra' morph kit (by Ghostofmacbeth) is exactly that .. an extra set of morphs to make his fabulous creatures.
