I'm looking for some tutorials (mostly scene specific (such as the ones for PS)) for The GIMP (the image editor I use).

My smallest suggestion would be to put your want in the subject area so people can see immediately if they can help or not. Have you done a search on your favorite search engine? It looks to me that a search for tutorials turns up a number of potential sites you may find handy. Sorry I can't be any help. I haven't tried The Gimp yet. I'm sure there are others who could. Hope you find what you're looking for soon. :)JNagyJr posted Sun, 14 September 2003 at 3:26 PM
The GIMP has several manuals (The Official GIMP Users Manual and Grokking The GIMP). I just downloaded them and chucked them on my web site (self-hosted). Still, it'd be nice to see some "real world" examples here on Renderocity. (;

I agree...the manuals only take you so far. Do you suppose cross posting on the 2D Graphics Forum would fish out any potential real life examples on the "to do's"? So much with these programs are written in people's memories instead of on any page.

Perhaps. I'll give it a go as soon as I'm done with my math homework.
