Subject: changing parameter dials

I am working on some obj's and I want to stop them from moving in serton derictions. can you eather change the dials so they dont move the obj in a certon derection or can you del the dials that you don't want in the pic provided can i stop the obj from moving in the deriction it apeare to be moving in.

forgot I'm useing 3dmax5 to shape the obj's then puting them togather in poser5

Double click on the dial and a dialogue box appears. Here you can set limits to how far you can dial. Setting 0 in a certain direction should stop movement totally in that direction.

You can edit the dial's hidden attribute by opening the Poser file in a text editor.

0 = visible
1 = hidden

Also, be sure you click on Figure:Use Limits to make the limits effective. (It says Figure, but it really applies to the currently selected thing, whether Figure or Prop.)

You can force limits to work for a dial even when the Use Limits function is disabled, by editing the Poser file. forceLimits 4
