How can I convert a model made with Poser to lightwave without having access to Poser to export to something else?

Welp if the model exists in the geometries directory as a OBJ file you can just import that into Lightwave.

Here's a link to the exact product you are looking for: http://www.poserpros.com/store/viewitem.php?selitem=529&start=0&selcat=170&selsub=0 The weight maps offered there as a separate product, are included in the poser-LW product, so you don't have to get both. Norm

You just can't put the words "Poserites" and "happy" in the same sentence - didn't you know that? LaurieA
Using Poser since 2002. Currently at Version 11.1 - Win 10.

The apparent echo is likely from norm1153's link being slow: he clicks, nothing seems to be happening, so he clicks again, and later both clicks are acted on.

Read my tutorial at the LightWave forum for working with Poser and LightWave. Caveat - you must have LW 7.5 and Poser Pro Pack for this to work seamlessly. The methodology also works with Poser animations. -scara

My gosh! I never got a response from Renderosity when I pushed the post button to submit my reply! I honestly gave up after waiting something 6-7 minutes. And the thing accepted them all! Good grief! My apologies to all, although I gotta say, I got tired of waiting!! I'm only going to push the button once this time. Here I go...... . . . . . Thanks, Norm
