For some reason when I model a cylinder with a texture, for some reason the texture doesn't show on the top plane. I dont know if i just haven't noticed this before or if bryce is acting up for some reason. Explanation? Fix? Any help greatly appreciated.

Mapping modes will determine how the texture ( material ) is applied to the cylinder. If your using one of the planar modes ( front, top, ect..) then the texture is stretched to fit the other sides or top & bottom. This is also true for cylindrical, this mode wraps the texture around it like it's a cylinder, with stretching occurring on the tops & bottom. Try using a mode like parametric, object or world space, or one of the cubic modes.
