I have decided that the rework of my old Hansom Cab model is now complete. The cab has been extensively reworked, and now includes carriage lamp props. There is a matching harness for the P4 horse, which will conform to the horse. Many thanks to Bloodsong for allowing me to adapt and existing cr2, the geometry is entirely original. The complete set can be downloaded from [ "Hansom Cab Mk2"](http://www.renderosity.com/artistdownload.ez?fileid=6713&key=589409) Cheers Ian

Here is a view from the front, showing the opening doors. The wheels also revolve on this model. Cab has texture and bump maps, lamps and harness have UV's assigned, but texture maps are not included, because they are not normally required. Interior detail shown here, on the seating is by texture and bump mapping. The entire download is just under 1.6 Mb Ian

Well, I had to get that. Reminds me of the horse drawn buggies at SeaPort Village in San Diego. Great romantic ride around the waterfront.

Little_Dragon posted Wed, 17 September 2003 at 10:53 PM

Amazing job! I have just the equine in mind to hitch up to that beauty, too. Any chance that the harness could be reworked to conform to the DAZ Charger?

HaiGan posted Thu, 18 September 2003 at 2:20 AM

Woo! Proper harness for the horse! Thank you! :) :D

Hi, Thanks all :-) Little Dragon, I will see if it is possible to adapt the harness to the charger, but I have some other WIP. Cheers Ian

Beautiful! It's very gracious of you to offer that as a free item. It's still a popular item today as I come by this thread through a link posted.

Send Ian a Private Message.  This thread is 3 years old, so it's probably after all this time that he may have taken it down, or moved it somewhere else.

EDIT:  Actually, I would send him a message via Email instead of private message as it looks like the last time he was here and posted was back in February.

EDIT EDIT:  Actually, he has the download posted here:

No, the link is still up.   I have just downloaded the file.   It's probably another problem with the Gremlinosaurus stalking Renderosity.   kjer_99, the link is still there.   What exactly is the problem you see?

When I click on the link I get a new page with the following message:

You're welcome :) It is a beautiful model.

Have you seen the stuff at Poser Works? They have some great antique vehicles there.  I'm on a tight budget but managed to pick some up during 2 sales last year.

The "London Cab"  (comes with a horse) and the "Gypsy Cart" (comes with a pony) are beautiful.

Same here. I was looking to see if the item was in Ian's free area when I noticed that there was a link in his homepage area.  Not sure why some can use the link in this thread and others are getting a 404 error.

Trying to attach using attach file option, though doesn't look like there is an upload option only a Browse button. Here goes...

If it works, all thanks go to Morgano!

UPDATE: It said it was an invalid extension... let's try this:

Right click and save as, then rename from .jpg to .zip...

Hope I'm not breaking (m)any rules doing this!

UPDATE2: Now it complains about file size... sigh. If anyone wants this file, let me know and I'll send it directly (or you can wait a week and try Ian's link, posted above).
