Anyone else having this sort of problem, or if so, how did anyone fix it?

I recently upgraded to the Vue 4.2 Beta from the full 4.12 upgrade (in one lump sum. I did the 4.12 update, then 4.2) and after doing so, have tried to import a few PZ3 scene files that I had previously saved before upgrading. I located the Poser 5 exe file (I'm using P5 with the SR update) and everything seemed fine... except:

Now that I've upgraded, quite a few of my scenes come in missing portions of their bodies. A scene I had with two characters is missing the entire body of the second character and only showing the hair, even though the first character seems to be fine. Other files seem to now missing shins, hands, and the like. This happens whether I load them as a single mesh or not, and in some cases, are missing clothing (or portions of which) that I had placed on them. (See pic for clarification)

I should note that all of these had originally loaded fine in 4.11. I've checked and have all the requisite (poser, poser 4 and poser 5) dll's in my Vue directory, as well as the Vue.rsr... Is this a problem anyone else has had and (preferably!) fixed? If so, how? Or is my best bet to say heck with it for now, reinstall and reupdate to 4.12 and stay there?
