Attached Link: Raptor Animation

The Maximum Pose, or shall I say "truePose", plugin is progressing very fast. Check out the link to see a short animation of the raptor runcycle. Konan

That's VERY Cool! A couple of questions, though: 1. How long did it take to convert the animation? 2. Will the plugin work with Mimic?

Exporting the animation from Poser takes a little (5-10 minutes). Importing the animation into the plug-in takes about 2 minutes and about 1 second to bring the animation into the trueSpace environment. Oh, yes. Anyone who wants to be on the contact list, email me at konan@spacemoose.com and ask to be on the trueSpace list. Konan

Cool, but now I'd like to know whether that 5 minute time increases as the frame count increases, and if so, how many frames took 5 minutes?

It was a 40 frame animation with the standard Raptor figure. I actually don't remember the exact time since I exported it for Maximum Pose a few months back. Obviously higher resolution models will take longer to export. Typically, you would set the animation up to export from Poser and go eat dinner or something.

Thanks for the info! I may have to download that TrueSpace demo now...

The demo for ts4 will run the plug-n perfectly. Konan

While I am glad Konan is creating this plugin for TrueSpace I am amazed that CUriouslabs as implemented MAX and LW functionallity via plugins into Poser and ignored TrueSpace. Just shows you where Curious' head is. Poser is a good compliment to any 3D package but Poser and TS are more likely pairs wheras LW MAX and Poser are less likely in the professional arena. I know there are pairs like thAt out there but the number of TS and POSER users are greater than Poser and MAX/LW users. besides MAX and LW are a higher level than TS and Poser so its an awful mismatch Pete
