I posted something about this in the Challenge Arena forum. It's more of a "If you help me I'll give you something in return." What I want are some good audio files of acting to use in my animations. I'm interested in a Sci-Fi theme at the moment but anything would do. Conversations between character would really be cool. I think I would buy them from the marketplace even. Others too I bet. If the acting was good and I was free to use them. Instead of recognizable movie clips with bad sound in the background.Valandar posted Tue, 23 September 2003 at 4:30 PM
Hey, just PM me a little "script". I've done voice acting before, and am relatively versatile.

Hi Jonathan, I could a have a go. Sounds like fun. I have a decent mike and recording equipment. When do you need the sound clips by, how long and mp3/wave. Message would be best. Mark

I wouldn't mind trying this out. I have a recording studio and could probably get some people in on it. is there a script or is it just anything Sci-Fi related?

No script. I want to make a trailor for a movie. Movie will never be done. I'm not a good script writer anyway. With what I'm doing it doesn't need to make sence even. MP3 files are probly best for posting. I dont want to lay down any rules. I'll try to make a list off things to say and post later.

Oh, can I play too?! I've been known to do a few voices myself. Need an Irishman who doesn't sound like a Lucky Charms commercial?
Taura Noxx posted Wed, 24 September 2003 at 3:41 PM
ok, I have a question for all you VA's. How do you think you could go in a serious emotional role. Say for instance this little sci-fi setting: Mike: How can you judge me for something that I haven't done! Vicki: But you will, you might not be aware of it but you will! [Tears well up in vickis voice] Vicki: It is what you were made for. Mike: I don't understand, I have no memory or even the desire to do ANY of that! Vicki: You were made in lab Mike! You are already hard wired to your destiny, its just a matter of time before that time bomb sets off in your brain. Mike:[becoming suspicious of Vicki now] How do you know all this?

Attached Link: Script
I posted a short and simple script. It's not really Sci-Fi anymore and I only need 1 male and 1 female. A little more of a plot now.Q2 posted Fri, 26 September 2003 at 2:50 AM
Is there a place on renderosity to post these proposed sound files?

Attached Link: File Locker
Thats a good question. You can get a "file locker" here which costs a little money. I dont want to give out my FTP info to everyone. If you cant post the files then Message me with the info. Like the files size and maybe we can figure something out. The file locker deal here is pretty good compared to web space at other places though.
