For the ReadMes: They should hard-code line breaks at about 76-80 characters in the file. Or, R'osity could enclose them in a table that is set to automagically resize based on a percentage of the screen resolution; like the tables used for posts. You can test it by resizing your browser window and see how the text in a post reformats based on the current size.
This new trend of wide images and text longer than my arm is really irritating ! Please set a size limit !!! Bigger is not better ; )

We just had a thread in the Poser forum on large images, and the difficulty of reading threads that contain them. Would it be possible to allow users to set, in their profiles, a maximum line length (in characters) for posts, so that the text would wrap within the visible window area even if an image had stretched the post-frame out to the middle of next-door's garden? This would also be useful for Readmes in the Market Place, where paragraphs currently occupy one long line. Ideally the wrapping would keep strings with no spaces together, so that links didn't get broken.
