I know there is a freebee out there somewhere, because I've got a model that's call manhattan walk through. Do a search and see if you can find it under that name. If not; give me an IM and I'll mail it to you

That's really a great model, Firewall1947, wouldn't mind having that myself....

That's great but I can't read Max files, just 3ds meshes. And Bryce will only open 3ds too! Any possibility of a more open source obj, 3ds, dxf?

I wonder if Amapi will read Max? If it does, boy are there some models I'm converting to obj or 3ds....

Zhann? If you go into Bryce and click on file, import object, it accepts prj files... If You click on the file type frop down menu, it will give a list of what it accepts... mine shows *.3ds, *.prj, *.t3d, *.3mf, *.b3d, *.dxf, *.x, *.lwo, *.lws, *.pgm, *.hf, *.cob, *.scn, *.ddf, *.dem, *.vsa, *.wrl, *.obj, *.elev, and *.nff hope this gives ya hope at least

Oops, I thought .prj was a max extension. It's in mine too. I wonder if Bryce will load the lights or just the mesh?

Sorry folks but if you have a 3DMax file, nothing will open it except for Max. Not even Bryce.

Anyone who needs it, let me know and I'll try and get it to you. Probably compress the hell out of it with WinRar! And yes, the file opens fine in bryce, the image shows the model in 3D exploration as a PRJ which bryce will happily load. Mat.

Hi Robert, look here http://www.simcenter.org/Projects/Lower_Manhattan/lower_manhattan.html (in the end of the page there is a download) All 4 files are in *.DXF . Bryce should read it all right. Ters
