I am trying to create fabric that is see through and flowing so I can complete a dreamscape picture. I do not know how to create the fabric. Any ideas? Thanks to all that help. Ken a.k.a. Xeno66

Well here's a good tutorial on how to create clothes http://www.earthcurves.com/tutorials/shirt_tute_0.htm You can construct your clothes that way to be flowing using that method in addition to a hard edged smear brush. For a see through fabric, you can always adjust the opacity of the layer once you're done, or you can set the brush with a low opacity so you'd have to repeatedly go over the same area with each new click to get some sort of layered effect. But that method would take some trial and error.

First, thank you for replying, you were the only one. I can't believe that most of the needed directions are over thrown by questions that can be found in a book, or not relevant at all. Thank you and will check out your suggestion on the tutorial and also your direct instructions. Much thanks Xeno66 a.k.a. Ken

Ken, sorry no one else responded to the thread. The link/tut is an excellent resource done by a member here Voodoo (Will Kramer) who is an excellent artist. When I saw the reply and the resource linked i didn't think i could add to it.
As for requests getting overlooked or passed by, it IS easy to happen when using the "marked all read" feature (which, as a mod, i use in every forum...or i'd never find my way back out!) Because of this, if no other replies are added, the thread never reappears for me unless i search the archives.
i hope the resource is useful,
:(
