You can place your own Audio files in or Record directly in the software, The prices of the Text-To-Speech voices are controlled in the due to high licensing charges from our partners (but the quality is excellent - robots need not apply) There is also a sound mixer enabling you to add as many sounds as desired to the timeline but only one is selected for Lip-Syncing, you get individual volume control on all audio. When the file is generated the software merges all of the audio into just one... ideal for Poser. Larger screenshots are coming.. As for the duration of the Launch offer, we are presently looking at it one day at a time!

I've been a Poser user for the last 4 years and was continually frustrated by lip-syncing and auto-animation offerings, so it was descided to write our own. 12 months later ... PoserToolbox is the start of things to come to make poser life easier, we have many other plans in the pipeline. The product was officially launched yesterday (Midnight US Central time), a banner ad campaign starts today in many poser community areas and we have already been receiving sales since 05:17 Central US time (somebody needs to get some sleep.. me thinks). We will be starting our own PT community area in due course and you are all welcome to visit.Marque posted Fri, 26 September 2003 at 9:27 AM

Can you tell me how it compares with the Mimic 2 pro program? Antje
andrejacyshyn posted Fri, 26 September 2003 at 11:41 AM
Mimic 2 is an excellent product, however we felt we would like to take a slightly different approach. We both automatically create head animations and of course lip-syncing, we have a comprehensive Text-to-speech interface, you can mix multiple audio files in our mixer and merge them into a single source for Poser, and best of all, our file structure is fully visible, you can create your own facial expressions and map the morph targets from our output onto any model, we ship profiles for all the major models Vic & Michael 2/3 the mapping is very simple.. so when you get a new model and find it doesnt blink or move its tongue you can create a profile in five mins. Oh! yes there is the price, we are I believe significantly less expensive. Other than that we both cater for a similar market space. For those who are interested we use Artificial Neural Network/Hidden Markov Model (ANN/HMM) approach to audio analysis. We will allow substitutions of voices but only at initial purchase. And only until the end of October. Unfortunatly it is not downloadable because of the size including the TTS it tops 130Mb and our band width would be saturated with downloads. For those that are interested there will be a Mac version in the next few weeks.
pdxjims posted Fri, 26 September 2003 at 11:46 AM
Cool. I get cash next week, I'll order it then. For $49 with a choice of voices, it's too good a deal to pass up.

Attached Link: Site Checked.. all OK!
Just gave the site the once over and everything seems, OK, we didn't expect the level of traffic so it may run slow from time to time, we have however just moved all of the demonstration files onto 6 other servers, so performance should be OK now. Thanks for the heads-up!genny posted Fri, 26 September 2003 at 12:30 PM
Marque, It's not Downloadable, so as soon as I get it and have a chance to give it a try.......I will let you guys know how it works.(: genny

Attached Link: Launch offer until End of October.
No worries we want to make PoserToolbox a must have in your animation armory, we have many more plans and will be adding additional Poser goodies to it probably on a monthly basis. Your suggestions by the way would be more than helpful. The Launch Offer is static until the end of October which should give Genny more than enough time to help win you over.. (and to gain a marketing advantage)..lol.genny posted Fri, 26 September 2003 at 1:25 PM
I don't know about helping to win anyone over....You haven't seen any of my animations have you? LOL! Anyway, I do love playing around with stuff like this, and I also enjoy sharing, so when-ever it gets here (hopefully during the next week) I will be on vacation the following two weeks with plenty of time to play with the program.(: genny

Windows PC Runnning XP or Windows 2000 OK, the inevitable question... will there be a Mac version? C'mon, we're sitting at 13% of the market for home computers over all, and you know there has to be even more numbers for graphics programs. 40% of all CL sales were to Mac users. So?

Attached Link: Good and bad news
Good News and bad news... the bad new is i've got a slight headache and its 20.20 in the UK and we've all been going since 06:30 (launch day), the good news, we will be releasing a mac version in the next few weeks, it will have differences however, No TTS sorry, there seems to be very few quality voice font purveyors who operate in the mac world. The software will however be using our "Advanced Animation Automation" systems (destined for version 2 of the PC version ... lol) - A3. This will mean a very streamlined with nearly zero human interaction when it comes to full animation production. We will probably be going into alpha in the next two weeks with beta shortly after... Hey! how could we forget the sexy (is that PC) end of technology, after all, theres nothing nicer that well crafted animations on a well crafted system!Lyrra posted Fri, 26 September 2003 at 4:31 PM
