BTW What is the usage on the dinos again? (the monsters and characters are obvious) I'd like to know if I can use them in a commercial animation or not. I actually have a scene that could use a couple of dinos in the storyboards for my planned indie animation project. anyway thanks again. I used to have Godzilla but lost the CD. :D My kid who recently discovered the big G will love it. Hehe will be a great excuse to try out the particles in mirage. _

Doesn't do anything when I click on them. The URL at the top continues to say, "http://66.66.223.184/dinosaurs.html#" no matter which one I click on. Oh well.
ScottA posted Sun, 28 September 2003 at 9:16 AM
No Restrictions. Other than selling them for profit. Commercial projects are fine. I see my modem working hard now ;-) Can anyone tell me how fast the DL's are going? -ScottA
ScottA posted Sun, 28 September 2003 at 9:17 AM
Chuck......Click on the names under the images to DL....not the images themselves.

Oh, boy, do I have pteradon egg on my face slaps self I guess I got so "distracted" by the mesh changing to a colored 3D image I just assumed THAT was where one clicked. Too early on Sunday morning, I think. Thanks Scott! You have gone to "double work" to give stuff away.
dagar posted Sun, 28 September 2003 at 9:24 AM
Don't worry Chuck! I did the same thing... hehe I thought Scott was teasing us! ;-p Then my mouse accidentally went over the names..and I saw the text in the little banner change to a .zip file WOOT! Dagar (AKA a fellow Chuckie! Charlie)

Very fast Downloads I cleaned ya out fast. :D Thanks for the lack of restrictions. I have one more question... Lets say I did use your Godzilla appearing on a TV screan highly disguised by static and other effects. for just a second or 2 In the background of my commercial animation. (just to show my main character is cool. :D) I'm sure legally this would be seen as parody. and if there was any trouble I'd take the heat. would that be ok with you? :D
catlin_mc posted Sun, 28 September 2003 at 10:22 AM
Beautiful dino models, thank you for being so generous. The d/l were very fast, I'm on cable. Only one prob though, I was half way through d/l TRex when the connection vanished. Catlin

Berserga, It all depends on how Toho feels about it. I've been creating and giving away these trademarked items for several years now. It's why I started modeling in the first place. And so far. The companies are acting nicely, and logically, and allowing us to enjoy their designs as fans. Commercial use is a different issue entirely. I'd consult the legal department with your company before putting it on T.V. -ScottA
Berserga posted Sun, 28 September 2003 at 10:47 AM
LOL. No company... just me. Forget about it. It was just a thought. I actually have my own generic godzilla esque monster in Truespace format. that I could use just to be safe.

Thank you for these, you don't have a limit on your up and download on your isp do you? Stupid question but some do have a monthly quota. Marque

I think we got a bunch of the models hosted by someone else here a few months ago.. maybe that site is still up?

Lol. I had no idea how demanding this was going to be. I thought I would get a few downloads here and there. Not constant. My modem hasn't stopped cranking away since 8am this morning. No wonder ISP's don't return my phone calls. ;-) I don't know Marque. But I'm going to shut down in about 30 mins. and re-think this whole thing. I didn't expect this much traffic. -ScottA

Great to see you back Scott! - Please don't be too hasty to pull the plug - I'm sure the demand will taper off fairly quickly. Its just the folks trying to grab all they can - I'll save the link and try in a day or two, as will others, I'm sure.

Mail came back from here that I sent Scott, so excuse me for putting the here in public forum. First it is really great to see you again! :-) I know we would all like to host our own stuff but I really don't mind hosting them for you. I would rather you not loose your ISP then you could not peek in now and then. Below are the pages you gave me permission to host for you on my own server months ago. :-) If you ever have anything else you want to share just send it to me. Please remember that over the years my observations have been that you have always helped anyone who needed it. Just consider it your turn to receive a little minor helping. And is good for my karma and my pleasure to give it. :-) Jenny The ULR for Set 1 http://www.lilwolff.com/Free/ScottModels.html The URL for Set 2 http://www.lilwolff.com/Free/ScottModels2.html PS consider it roalty rights - I am still using your song on my site. ;-)

I'm glad to see you doing this, even though I downloaded them long ago... I may have to check back with you occasionally to see if you have anything new up. I remember you were working on mechzilla at one time, I'm still looking forward to that. Maybe just run the site a few hours a day, at random... I've stressed it many times that we need to be easy on our freestuff providers, there is no need to go through and download everything in site, no matter how bad the temptation....8^) If we all show moderation, they will still be here tomorrow. I can dream, right? heh Good to see you again, and thanks.

Don't want any misunderstandings. ;-) And i will email you the final renders of them, if you want. Cause, i never post my commercial work in my galleries. Later & Thanks! Marco
