Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Nov 10 2:03 pm)
Little_D: Oh yes, first thing I tried way back when. Also tried running them through various image converters, graphics apps ... nothing recognizes them. Isn't that just a bizarre thing to do? E-on reminds me of CL in so many ways (not as bad) ... like a distant cousin. :)
RH: Vue+Mover of course (bought them together) ... you can't do Poser animations in Vue without Mover.
Thanks, anyway both of you!

I think that Poser would need a kind of technical redesign, without much added features. Accelerated Graphics, better compatibility at least to the Windows APIs, a faster renderer, a more stable design. This is a lot of work, but after this is done I would even buy P5. From all what I've read here it seems to be pure luck if it works acceptable on my pc.

when they were talking about P5 release, they were supposed to have reworked the code, etc..but you see what we have..P4 with the same problems, with some of the Pro Pack tacked on...then the added rooms that sorta work..and a renderer that is slow and does some bizarre stuff. However, I do like P5..now...and believe me, I was sure disappointed and did a lot of screaming at the release condition. I hope P6 is a long way off....all I want now is for P5 to work as advertised.
