Hi all, firstly I want to say that this is an excellent site and I have always found this a very helpful forum, Hopefully someone can help me with my latest issue. I have a character (Mike2) that is animated, I have him looking older and his physique is that of a thin man. It shows him putting a pill into his mouth, and the animation is correct. Now the only problem is that I need to show a younger man (mike) with the exact same animation applied. Is there a way to copy the key frames of one character and paste to another character? any help is appreciated, Thanks,

Yes - try opening the "Window" menu and selecting the Aniamtion Pallette (Busy rendering now, can't check teh exact name). You can select the required frames of the appropriate channels and copy them to paste onto another character. Alternatively you can probably save the pose as an animaiton exclusing morph channels. And so on and so forth... one fo the benefits of Poser is that you can acheive the same ends many different ways (e.g. another way of doing it would be to apply a "young Mike" morph to the animation and save as a new filename. You might have to check that the character doesn't morph back to the old dude due to key frames having been set though).

Export the motion as BVH re-import the BVH motion to your other character simple

or, a third way, use the librarys single checkmark to replace your animated figure with the new figure. Do not use the 'Keep Modified Geometries' checkbox in the dialog box to avoid retaining the first figure's morph settings.
