I've therefore decided to make it free. Also because I myself, have downloaded so many wonderful things for free that I need to pay something back. :)
It's not completely ready yet. These are the renders I've made of it. I what very much like to hear what you think!
The needle-textures will be VERY highquality.
I hope that Norbert (deadhead) will give me permission to use his wonderful bark-texture as the bark.

Looks great, I never understood why Vue never had a Pine in their tree library. Can't wait to see it in free stuff or the marketplace.

Actually Vue has a very cool pine in their tree library... And it renders fast too... But yeah Thomas this is a great conifer, thanks for sharing... :)

Yay, this looks amazing! If you want use some of my bark textures from freestuff, feel free to do so. They are absolutely free for anyone, especially for my Renderosity friends :) I look forward to final tree.

I only have one problem with it... ...it's not on my hard drive yet! :) Great work and thanks for the generosity!
C makes it easy to shoot yourself in the
foot. C++ makes it harder, but when you do, you blow your whole leg
off.

I've been dying to buy those Xfrog conifer trees. But now you make a free one !? Just love to get this one and sure make our pictures a lot better. You can put up an order screen in your site we can order online thru PayPal or whatever, that way it's 100% yours. Many many thanks.

Many thanks for the early Christmas present. The quality is fantastic. But you really should consider a PayPal account. They're a easy to set up and PayPal provide the HTML link code to paste into your favourite website editor.

The Vue Conifer is very regular and has a funny thing sticking up on top.. I use it and then clone that off.. otherwise the vue trees are fine.. but YOURS IS FANTASTIC and you are very generous to share this tree with us all! I look forward to it very much!

I downloade this tree and threw it into view and I must say, it is just as fantastic as advertised. You really should have made this one a pay item, it's that good. However, I'm happy to have it free and hope you gain enormous reward from seeing the forest of renders this generous gift will grow :-)
