When I start up Poser 5 (I've just caved in and bought it) I get this: I tried to set preferences to start up in factory state and I still get this perspective. I might try yanking the main camera setting off the cd again, but this is just annoying and I have no idea how this happened, since I never start up in previous state. Anyone have any idea what's going on???

heyas; move your camera to where you want it. save that as your preferred state. change the preferences not to start up in factory state. that should do it.

My Poser 5 starts up just like that too. I think it's "supposed" to. Highly annoying, but as I almost never use Don anyway, I just zoom out while switching character :o)

You just can't put the words "Poserites" and "happy" in the same sentence - didn't you know that? LaurieA
Using Poser since 2002. Currently at Version 11.1 - Win 10.

lol i get the same thing, this usually happens to me when I have been on before that and used a background of an odd size. no biggie, i think it's by default. --Essie

Ok I've managed to sort that out, I pulled the poser.rsr out of a backup when I moved the directory - and it works again now. Haven't tried pulling it from CD, but that should work too if it's possible (Didn't look since I had a copy of it on another drive that got ripped out due to being... too small lol)
