help! at the last minute, i have discovered a flaw in the head meshes. the left eyelids are not welded together at the edges (although the cr2 tells them to be). the right eyelids work fine. see the comparison pictures above. (the right eyes are on our left.) on the right eye, top, you can see how the eyelids stay together at the edges when the upper eyelid is raised. left eye, top, same pose. right eye bottom, this is a more extreme pose, probably not one that you would use -- where the upper lid is twisted forward... you can see how it is still attatched to the lower lid. left eye bottom, this is the problem -- definitely NOT attatched. i've tried everything i can think of to fix them. different welding orders, and i even went back to the eyelid mesh and re-copied the right side to the left and plugged them back into the head, and they still wouldn't work. the thing is, if i don't ship the pre-final cd to my mac converter in a day or two, the cd won't be done til after the end of august. on the one hand, i do NOT want to wait that long. on the other hand, the thought of releasing df with such a flaw is really bothering me. so i can do one of three things: 1: ship it like this. 2: hold off and try to fix it for another month. 3: i can parent the lower lid to the upper lid, which will make them weld properly... but every time you move the upper lid, the lower lid will follow it, and you have to reposition it. any thoughts? thanks! :)
