I just was thinking about the render window..when the thing starts to render, you can see the little squares..i presume that illustrates the bucket size...larger the bucket, fewer and larger squares. but my question...what determines the portion of the image that is shown on those little squares ??? I must be bored, but the thing is rendering now...need to do something :)

It's some sort of refresh issue, in all likelihood. Whatever's in the bucket "buffer" gets repeated or tiled.

it likes to do eyes, quite often for some reason :) and some of those squares have some freaky things going on. I like to try and figure out what part of the image they come from...its sometimes very challenging :) Suppose I could do some reading or something while the render goes on..or get some sleep.

its hypnotic, LOL if someone saw me, they'd think I had lost it staring into that monitor at the little squares :)
